Ryan Christopher (b. 1998, UK) is a London-based artist working across sculpture, sound, and writing to consider material relations within elliptical narratives. His practice draws on the formal and indexical properties of historical texts, imagery, and sound, engaging diverse sources—including early Christian history (with a focus on North and East Africa), ancient poetry, religious metaphysics, and music—to examine connections.

Experiences of the natural world, divine contact, absence, and impartial necessity are traced through materials such as plasterboard, greenhouse covers, and sound recordings of wind and the viola da gamba. These fragments are arranged into concise narrative compositions shaped by slight and methodical gestures.
